The work behind a response

A public records request becomes a series of practical tasks: finding the records, checking the deadline, documenting a decision, and preparing the response. SSE keeps those tasks connected to the same case.

Bellwether is the working demo. It brings intake, response-clock history, record review, redaction, fee decisions, and release preparation into a temporary workspace with sample records.

Why the name?

[sic] preserves what the source actually said. Errata records a correction. The name reflects a simple principle: keep the original and make the history of changes visible.

“Thus always to paperwork” is a deliberately incorrect translation. That is the joke.
