What this site and the demo record

This page describes what sicsempererrata.com and the public demo at demo.sicsempererrata.com actually collect. It is written from the deployed configuration, not from intent, and its changes are entered in the docket.

This website

• The site is static pages. It sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, and loads no analytics, fonts, or scripts from third parties. Its content security policy allows only its own files.
• The web server keeps an access log of each request: the time, the path requested, the response status, the referring page, the browser identification string, and the visitor’s IP address as forwarded by Cloudflare. There is currently no scheduled deletion of that log; it is cleared when the web server is rebuilt.
• Cloudflare delivers and protects the site and processes network and security data under its own policies. It may set its own cookies for security checks.

The public demo

• Each visitor receives a separate temporary workspace: one random session cookie, marked HTTP-only and secure, an in-memory database, and a temporary directory for uploaded sample files. The workspace expires thirty minutes after it is created; the banner shows when. Reset replaces only your sample data. A server restart discards every demo session. Nothing you enter is kept after that.
• Uploads stay inside your workspace and are deleted with it. The demo has no outbound network connection: it does not send email, call third-party services, or transmit uploads anywhere.
• To limit abuse, the demo counts new workspaces per network address in memory and refuses when a network or the service is at capacity. Those counters are not written to disk.
• Demo requests pass through the same web server log described above. Request paths include the sample request references you create.
• Use invented names, contact details, and files. The demo is an evaluation with fictional records, not a request portal, and nothing entered reaches any public agency.

A municipality that adopts the software does so under its own agreement, retention schedule, and records-management obligations. This page does not describe those deployments.
